Bake Sale Fundraiser

Last Thursday, November 13th, Turning Point USA at the University of North Georgia hosted its first bake sale to raise funds for chapter equipment and future events. Members baked a variety of homemade treats, including chocolate chip cookies, fun-fetti cookies, and brownies. While selling these desserts, attendees had the opportunity to speak with chapter leaders, learn more about Turning Point’s mission, and discover ways to support the group.
About thirty minutes into the event, an anonymous male attempted to secretly cut down one of the chapter’s banners hanging above the table. Students inside the Hoag Student Center noticed his suspicious behavior and recorded the incident. Thanks to their quick action, campus police were able to identify the individual and take him into custody shortly after he left.

Despite this interruption, the bake sale was a success! The chapter raised a total of $235.00, which will be invested into next semester’s events and outreach efforts we hope to host!
Turning Point USA at the University of North Georgia would like to thank everyone who stopped by our table, purchased baked goods, donated, or took the time to learn more about our mission and purpose!
God Bless,
